Jocelyn and Daniel were the most fun couple to shoot bridals for! They laughed pretty much the whole time and you could just feel their excitement for their wedding that would take place the next weekend.
Jocelyn was in a couple of my husband's psychology classes at BYU and one day asked him if he knew any one who does videos because a wedding she was taking the pictures for was looking for a videographer. He was like "well actually yes, my wife does." I was finishing up my last semester in the film program at BYU and was looking for a way to break into the world of event videography and Jocelyn gave me that opportunity! She not only became a mentor but also a great friend.
I have been looking forward to her and Daniel's wedding for months and was so thrilled when she asked me to film her bridals and wedding day.
We shot the bridals at Empire Pass in Park city and it was so beautiful! We only had to walk a few yards to find totally different scenery options. I may have gotten a few scratches and definitely came home with a ton of pointy plant seeds, but the shots we got in this natural beauty were totally worth it.
I am really loving the mountainous backdrops that Utah gives us that work with cameras and would love to take another couple up to that spot sometime!
