Throwback Tuesday is a thing right? I'm only 22 and already I am losing my touch with what's hip and stuff. Must be a mom thing.
Here's a throwback to a couple of months ago when we got to spend Easter with my husbands family in the tiny town of St. Anthony, Idaho. We stayed in a house that has been in the Holyoak family for generations and it was such a treat to see a place where so many of my husband's childhood memories took place.
This was our daughter Sally's first Easter. Although she wasn't super actively involved in the festivities, she was able to learn how to climb stairs, bond with her cousins, and work on those grasping skills.
Most of my memories from when I was very young come from home videos. Not many of us actually remember what it was like to be an infant, but we all were at some point. Our parents remember that time like it was yesterday. So when memories like this are preserved we can look back and see parts of our lives that we didn't even know we were a part of.
Not every event you plan to capture with a nice (and super reasonably priced) viedographer needs to be an elaborate thing. Sometimes the most simple get togethers make for the best memories.
I hope you enjoy the most personal project I've posted on here!
